Description

The large flood of test result data, especially in a network, may be perfectly handled with the  NetCom Xi7-software. By entering the respective search criteria, you will find the requested test results within no time and you are able to create test reports and statistics to prove your quality to your customers.

This gives you safety- also with regard to the manufacturer´s liability.

Unique is the possibility to manage the data of several GLP2-e testers in one tester network with one central PC. With it, test sequences may be sent to the testers and test results may be re-sent to and stored on the PC. The entire data traffic is managed and controlled by the PC-software NetCom Xi7.

The benefits of a network result from the central storage of all test sequences and test results. Thus, the test sequences are equal for all testers connected to the network.  In case a test sequence is modified, all other testers are also operated with the modified test sequence. This significantly facilitates the maintenance of test sequences and avoids errors due to different sequences at testers intended for the same test tasks.  The test sequences are centrally edited on the network-PC. The central storage is useful in case of searching for test results or creating test reports, as all data is stored at the same place. 

For the exchange of data between tester and PC a serial RS232-connection is established. To operate several testers in one network at the same time, 3 network variants are available. The first variant is a network with RS485-bus system which, however,  requires the installation of special cables for the network. As an alternative, your Ethernet-based internal LAN, which is normally used for the data exchange between PCs, may also be used for the testers. By this there´s no need to install special network cables and bigger distances may be bridged than using the RS458-interface. In cases where testers are always operated at different locations within the company and a network connection is not available, WLAN is used.

NetCom Xi7 stores the collected database either locally on a PC or in a PC-network (LAN).
