Black boxes

Blackbox for standard-compliant function tests.

Key-Facts

Blackbox as proof of functionality.

Description

Be on the "safe side".

For the daily, regular tester inspection a blackbox (test dummy) is connected to the respective tester. It is checked, if the measured values correspond to the values determined by the blackbox. If this is not the case, the tester locks itself and is only released if a blackbox test is performed with corresponding result.  As we only deliver testers which have been digitally evaluated, this test in normally not carried out by means of a "GO/ NOGO-blackbox", but we only use one single blackbox and evaluate the arising measuring results within straight tolerance limits.

In case a blackbox test ends with a NOGO-result (not o.k.), the tester locks itself. In this case, the reason for the deviation has to be determined and eliminated first. Only in case of a GO-result (o.k.) the tester is released.

You can configure, when the blackbox tests should be carried out. This can be time-, or quantity dependent. Normally the blackbox test is performed after switching the tester on.

Each blackbox consists of a connection to the tester and one or more precision resistors and/ or inductances. They can either be intended for only one test method or for combinations of those.

Each black box is delivered with a calibration certificate and its resistance values to be able to properly adjust the black box test steps for further tests.
